bavarian meatballs

recipe for 2 people

ingredients

enough vegetable oil for gently roasting,

240 g beef and pork mince,

¼ onion (roasted),

¼ clove of garlic (roasted),

1 tsp parsley,

¼ egg,

40 g brewis,

½ tsp paprika,

¼ tsp thyme,

2 pinches of rosemary,

2 pinches of oregano,

2 pinches of caraway,

salt/pepper,

30 g bread crumbs

 

how you make it:


stove plate on ↑6/6, warm olive oil (→olive oil), stove plate on ↓2/6, sauté onions (→onion) and after that garlic (→garlic) in a pan

 

deglaze it with a little bit water

 

spice it with salt/pepper and stove plate on ↓0/0

 

put it all into a bowl together with the meat

 

then add all the other ingredients (except the bread crumbs)

 

mix and knead it with your hands

 

then wet your hands to form it to meatballs/meat rissoles (Ø 4-5 cm)

 

roll them through a soup plate full of bread crumbs, done!

 

stove plate on ↑6/6, warm vegetable oil

 

stove plate on ↓4/6

 

roast the meatballs gently to get them brown circa 5-7 minutes every side (don´t turn more times than once to keep it moist!)

 

if the meat balls burn to fast or stick to the pan bottom, then add a bit oil

 

serve it with bread and salad or rice
